St. Maarten's Island Neighbours St. Barts, Anguilla & Saba

  These three islands are each accessible as day trips from St. Maarten.  I visited St. Barts three times, 2005-2007, the others once.  They couldn't be more different.  St. Barts is French and hilly, Anguilla is English and flat, and Saba is Dutch and mountainous.

These three islands are clustered around St. Maarten t the top of the chain of Leeward Islands in the north-eastern Caribbean.  A map showing the positions of these islands relative to St. Maarten appears below the regional locator map.
